Our quarries are all located in Xingzi county Jiangxi province close to our factory, where is renowned for the abundant superior slate resources from ancient times.
In order to obtain intact quarry blocks, the explosion is avoided as possible as we can. Meanwhile, masses of human labor in chiseling ensure us to select the best rock materials, and only qualified slates could be transported to our factory for processing. That is why HengKang Slate is regarded as a best quarrier in China.
Our slate could be classified roughly into black, grey, green,rusty, etc. with fine grained textures. The black is the best materials for billiard slate by splitting into sheets along the natural cleavage. Its unique properties in waterproof, abrasion resistant, insulation, resistance to acid and pollutants also make it excellence in architecture application.
we have had our own 6 quarries in our area, Hengtang Town, Xingzi County, Jiujiang City, where is well-known for its rich slate resource with famous name " Chinese Stone Village". Now these quarries mainly offer black, rusty,green,gray,green rusty slate resource, and the black and green could be split in minimal thickness by 5mm and whose quality could be guaranteed.It is suitable for flooring, walling, roofing, furniture, craft, mosaic and so on, and the black is best for billiard slate. As well as the quantity could meet our clients' any demands.
