Established in 1986 by Mr. Hu Dai Chun, HengKang Slate is among the earliest private capitalized quarries in China. At early stage we are a very small family-owned workshop with only about 6 members and a few simple machines. At that time, billiard slate is our sole product processed under very tough condition. Through nearly 2 decades’ development HengKang Slate has grown to become the leading manufacturer and exporter of natural slate by means of  our accumulated experiences, advanced  technology and equipments.  
Now Mr. Kenneth Hu (the second generation of this family) has been in the president position. The business keeps going up rapidly and our product scope has expanded to various building slates and craft slates.  As a wholly private enterprise, we have already acquired Import& Export license from China central government.

HengKang Slate is situated at the foot of Lushan Mountain (A famous mountain for its landscape as well as typical geophysical properties during mountain building).

Our factory covers an area up to 16000 square meters and continue to expand. About 180 skilled workers are employed into routine production. The computer-controlled machineries allow us to process slates to international standard with unmatched flatness, precision and consistency.
